Dr Swati Allahbadia is a Fertility Physician, Endoscopist and Obstetrician based in Mumbai (Dadar/Wadala) and working in women’s health since the last thirty years.

She did her graduate and postgraduate studies in Medicine and gynecology from the Seth G S Medical College and KEM Hospitals.

She was a holder of the V N Majumdar prize in that period.

A brief stint in Family Planning with conducting Laparoscopic sterilization camps was followed by a Lecturer and then an Associate Professor’s post at the Sion Hospital. She was Unit Chief and had to manage multi-system disease in pregnancy, difficult gynecological surgeries, and carry out life-saving Obstetric hysterectomies and internal iliac artery ligations.

She trained in Endoscopy at the Ethicon Institute and as a holder of the Hargobind Fellowship, trained in Endoscopic microsurgery as well as Robotic Surgery in the United States. She holds Diplomas in Endoscopy and in Reproductive Medicine from Germany.

In her career spanning 30 years she has treated several challenging cases. These include Vault prolapse, Absent Vaginae, Previous pregnancy losses, Previous IVF failures, Successfully managed Haemophilia and Thalassemia carriers with PGD.

She has also

– operated on women with multiple previous surgeries,

– removed up to 21 fibroids from 1 uterus,

– helped older women achieve motherhood

– managed thyroid disorders, diabetics and asthmatics with pregnancy

– managed high order multiple gestations

– delivered a few sets of triplets

She is experienced in low-cost IVF using soft stimulation protocols-having run the Deccan Fertility Clinic and the Rotunda Blue Fertility Clinics for several years with many happy patients from all walks of life.
